FAQ
What is it?
Profhilo® is a cross-linked, stabilised form of injectable hyaluronic acid gel. Distinctly different from dermal filler, Profhilo® works as a skin conditioning, bio-remodeller with the ability to stimulate collagen and elastin producing cells within the skin.
Is it safe?
Over a million syringes Profhilo® have been administered worldwide, and it has a very well-established safety profile. As with any injectable treatment, there is a risk of swelling, redness, tenderness and bruising for 24-48 hours after treatment.
How many will I need, and how often?
Results are visible after only 2 treatments, 4 weeks apart. Profhilo can be repeated 6-12 monthly to maintain the best possible results.
